Terms of Service — Razi Image Editor

Agreement to Terms

Razi Image Editor ("the Service", "we", "us") is operated by Razi Digi. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Service.

What the Service Does

Razi Image Editor provides free, browser-based tools for compressing images, converting images to PDF, extracting PDF pages as images, and removing/replacing photo backgrounds. All processing happens locally in your web browser using JavaScript, WebAssembly, and on-device machine-learning models — your files are not uploaded to our servers.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

Use the Service to process content that is illegal, infringing, or that you do not have the right to use.
Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service or the third-party libraries it relies on.
Use the Service to create or distribute misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive content, including for official identification documents you are not entitled to hold.
Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in a way that places unreasonable load on it.

Accounts, Your Own Files, and the Pro Plan

The core tools (compressing images, converting to/from PDF, and basic background removal) do not require an account. You retain full ownership of any images or PDFs you process. Since files are processed entirely on your own device and never transmitted to us, we have no access to, and make no claim over, your content.

An optional account unlocks the Pro plan (see Pricing), which adds professional gradient and custom-image backgrounds to the Remove Background tool. Accounts and Pro status are stored locally in your browser rather than on a central server, so they are tied to the device and browser you signed up in and do not sync elsewhere. Pro is currently unlocked with a redeem code — generated specifically for the email address on your account — that Razi Digi emails you after you complete payment manually (bank transfer, JazzCash, or Easypaisa); see the Pricing page for the current steps. Your code will not work on an account using a different email, and should not be shared.

Pro Payments & Refunds

Pro is currently sold via manual payment (bank transfer, JazzCash, or Easypaisa) rather than an automated checkout. Prices are shown in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) on the Pricing page. Once payment is confirmed, Razi Digi will email a redeem code tied to the account email you paid with. Refund requests can be sent to Razi Digi via the contact details on the About page and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

"As Is" — No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output (such as a compressed image, a converted PDF, or a background-removed photo) will always meet your specific requirements — including requirements set by third parties such as passport, visa, or ID-document authorities. Always verify official document requirements yourself before submitting any file produced with this tool.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Razi Digi and Razi Image Editor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Because all processing happens locally in your browser, we are not able to recover files you have not separately saved yourself.

Third-Party Libraries & Services

The Service loads open-source libraries and, for certain features, machine-learning models from third-party content delivery networks (see our Privacy Policy for the full list). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of those third-party services.

Intellectual Property

The Razi Image Editor name, logo, design, and website code are the property of Razi Digi, except for the open-source third-party libraries it uses, which remain under their own respective licenses. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the Service itself without permission.

Changes to the Service or These Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable local law in the jurisdiction where Razi Digi operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer-protection law where you reside.
